There is no doubt that the outcome of the Nov. 8 elections will set the stage for the future of housing. That’s why the work of BUILD-PAC, NAHB’s political action committee, is more important than ever.

BUILD-PAC helps elect the most qualified pro-housing, pro-business candidates to federal office. This election cycle, BUILD-PAC is spending nearly $3 million on candidates and committees who understand and support home building priorities.

In this video, Eugen Graf, the 2016 BUILD-PAC Chairman and home builder from Bozeman, Mont., explains why NAHB members from across the country invest in BUILD-PAC to make housing’s voice in Washington strong.

As Eugen reminds us, “Being a small-town home builder isn’t an easy job,” due to the overwhelming number of government regulations that impact the housing industry.

Recognizing the importance of this year’s elections, NAHB is officially endorsing candidates for the U.S. House and Senate for the first time in its 74-year history. The incumbents and candidates that NAHB endorses have demonstrated a commitment to advancing pro-housing policies.
