We are pleased to announce the 2009 Iowa City Home & Builder Show returns February 27, 28 and March 1 to the Coralville Marriott Convention Center. The Greater Iowa City Area Home Builder’s Association will incorporate “green” as our theme for this year’s show to continue to build one of the top home shows in Eastern Iowa.

The Designer Showcase rooms are being featured in the Oakdale Ballroom. Our “Ask A Designer Program” is designed for the consumer to bring in plans and talk to some of the finest designers in eastern Iowa. Talk to our designers about incorporating “green” into your interior design project.

1. Alliant Energy’s PowerHouse hosts Pete Seyfer and Megan Turner will demonstrate easy do-it-yourself energy improvements to consumers at the Home Show.

2. Alliant Energy’s GEO-1, a traveling exhibit that provides interactive education on geothermal heating and cooling technology.

3. Designer Showcase Rooms and Designer Garden

4. Kids zone –sponsored by the Children’s Museum in the entry way to the arena focusing “green”.

5. Educational Programs from expert speakers on all facets of home construction and remodeling.

The Iowa City Home & Builder Show is a quality consumer home show in Eastern Iowa. Over 100 exhibitors and 150 booths will fill the exhibit hall and Oakdale Ballroom of the Marriott Convention Center. This show will allow area consumers to see, touch, compare and buy everything they need for their homes and gardens.:
