Mike Farr Named National Chair Candidate

Greater Iowa City Area HBA member Mike Farr of Cascade Manufacturing has been named a candidate for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) position of National Associate Chairman. He is one of two who qualify. 

The election takes place at the International Builders Show, Feb. 8-10, in Orlando. Those eligible to vote must be an Associate member (as opposed to an NAHB Builder or Affiliate member) in good standing and belong to one of the following categories:

• Current Associate Members Committee members.
• Current and past National Associate Chairmen.
• Current delegates of the NAHB Leadership Council who are associate members.
• Current directors of the NAHB Board of Directors who are associate members.

Mike has been highly involved with NAHB at the local, state and national level. He’s earned multiple awards, including the 2018 NAHB Associate of the Year and 2018 NAHB Bill Polley Advocate of BUILD-PAC Award. Congratulations, Mike! The Iowa City Area HBA is proud of you.
