The historic Park House Hotel, built in 1850, has undergone many structural changes, remodels, etc. over the past 150 years. The first task in this renovation was to determine the extent of the building's structural failures and correct them. Once the structure was stabilized, the interior renovations began. The existing apartment building housed 27 units. The new design incorporated 16 three bedroom units. The main focus in the historical renovation of this building was the exterior. All the exterior brick surfaces were stripped, and the entire building was then re-tuck pointed. Window replacements were installed, a cupola built, and a balcony was erected on the front of the building that shows the detail, craftsmanship, and class that the original Park House Hotel must have boasted.
