 Having
lived in this home for almost 20 years, the homeowners felt
ready for a change. “As they looked down the road toward
retirement, they had asked themselves what could or should they
be upgrading in their home to make it more
attractive and functional,” says Ray Wagehoft of Wagehoft
Home & Land. “A kitchen remodel became the
focus.”
The homeowners chose to turn their closed, dropped-cabinet kitchen
into an open space that flowed easily into the family room.
The renovation incorporated a free-standing island with mission
and prairie design features.
 The
kitchen is now much more open to the family room and dining
room. “Our client’s choice of colors, fixtures,
appliances and hardware detail made this project look fantastic,”
says Wagehoft. |
