| You like your house and your neighborhood,
but you’d like to make some changes. A home remodeling project
could be just what you need to turn your current house into your dream
home. In order to help you envision the possibilities of what can
be accomplished with a home remodeling project, the Remodelors Council
of the Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association sponsors
a Remodelors Parade each fall. This year’s event will be held
on Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Oct. 15, from noon to 4
p.m. Eleven remodeling projects will be featured on
this year’s parade, ranging from one room additions to whole
house remodels.
“The Remodelors Parade provides the perfect opportunity to
not only visualize what can be done in the scope of a remodeling
project but also to meet with several top remodelors and get a feel
for their work,” says Brad Moore of Moore Electrical Service
in Iowa City and 2006 chair of the Remodelors Council.
Tickets to visit just one or all eleven homes featured on the Remodelors
Parade are $3 and are available at each home featured on the parade.
