September is Associate Appreciation Month

During September, The Greater Iowa City Area HBA has an opportunity to celebrate our invaluable Associate members for their contributions to the home building industry as the month is designated by NAHB as Associate Appreciation Month. These members are one of three types of membership categories, the other two being Builder and Affiliate (affiliate members may join if there’s already an existing company member in the builder or associate categories.)

Associate members help home builders run successful businesses and make meaningful connections with customers. Most importantly, they help build the homes that improve the lives of families and make a lasting impact in communities across the country.

“Home Builders and Remodelers wouldn’t be in business without Associate members, and vice versa,” said NAHB Associates Committee Chair Linda Mosier-Vaudt, who does consulting in Gig harbor, Wash. “We all depend on each other to succeed, and the easiest way to gain business is by being involved with NAHB and your local association.”

This month we’ll be profiling three Iowa City Area HBA Associates on this blog and via Instagram and Facebook. Watch for these features! Meanwhile, if you’re an HBA/NAHB member Builder, shout out a “thank you” to those Associate members you work with, and use the hashtag #AMAM19 if it’s on social media. It’s an easy way to give them some much-deserved visibility and recognition to these important members.
