To enhance your time as you are walking around the Home Show, Ardon Creek Winery will be sampling their wine throughout the event. Show attendees can sample a variety of wines, from sweet to dry’s, for all to enjoy.
Ardon Creek Vineyard and Winery is located on over four acres of beautiful, rolling farmland about 30 minutes southeast of Iowa City, right outside of the town Letts.
Ardon Creek has a unique variety of wines, as the grapes used to produce them must put up with the harsh Iowa winters. Each wine presents a story, tying it to the history of their town, township, or a loved one.
During harvest, around September, workers and volunteers come together to hand pick the grapes before they are taken to be de-stemmed, crushed or pressed. Once the wine is fermented, workers and volunteers come together again to take part in the bottling process.
Ardon Creek wine can be found at many local retailers and farmers markets. The winery also has a tasting room to visit for testing and purchasing.
